Best Iron Plates
I had heavier light grey plates that I use on my barbell but I decided to buy lighter pairs of these dark grey 1.25 and 2.5 kg simply for attaching steel chains through the holes that you can't put in normal plates.
In terms of smell and looks these plates are the best, I don't buy plastic and I regret buying from another company that sells iron weights that are even paler than these light grey plates and smells bad.
Only questionable things is there is no other material options as these are the only non-rubber/non-plastic tri grip plates sold by BodyMax. And that all these plates especially the heavier ones have bulges out on 4 areas on each side for some reason, I just see it as a waste of space making the plates thicker and creates empty space inbetween plates.

Best Tri Grip Plates in the UK.
I bought these in pairs of 5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg and 20 kg around 5 or more years ago and I've been getting back into weights recently and I've found these to be the best.
Other companies' tri grip plates might have a bad smelling paint, have an uglier paint, the plates don't stack well on top of eachother because of the shape. But non of these are an issue with bodymax iron trip grip plates.
The only downside I can see is that there is no non-painted steel tri grip plates option and the light grey tri grip plates are running out of variety of weight options while all the weight options are still available on the dark grey shopping page. But it's still the best in the country.

Good weightplates
I had bought a package deal of these plates before Covid-19 and honestly they are fantastic, they will last a life time, will pay for themselves in gym membership savings and the handles make them versatile, grab 2x25kg plates for a begginners farmers walk. Use for dumbell curls and tricep from overhead, do rows to hit back, use with an olympic loading pin for a cable setup/grip work, use clutched to your chest for a hard situp crunch on a declined bench, use them for squats, deadlifting, good mornings and loads more excercises. They are the bread and butter for a home gym and all plate loaded equipment. I also use them with a plate loaded kettlebell for swings, assistant deadlift training, rows, side/front/back arm extensions, assistant squat also possible on a raised platform. These plates wont let you down
