LOW IMPACT WORKOUT
The Taurus X9.9 Elliptical Crosstrainer features dual-action anti-slip handlebars, which allows for a full-body workout experience. Simply pump the handles back and forth to target your chest, arms, shoulders and back. Letting go of the handles will focus the stress on your mid-section as you work harder to keep yourself balanced, which targets your core.
The amount of resistance on a cross-trainer will determine how much effort it takes to keep your feet moving- the Taurus X9.9 is capable of output between 10-350W. The users determine the speed, so if you wish to stop at any time, simply stop and the machine will too.
LCD CONSOLE
The Taurus X9.9 Elliptical Crosstrainer features 25 built-in programs- accessible from the integrated LCD monitor- all designed to help you improve and smash your goals. The X9.9 is a great source of aerobic exercise as it's perfect for interval training. The built-in heart rate sensors on the handrails ensure you’re accountable and aware of what zone you’re working in so you know when to push on, or to pull back to get the best results! The LCD console also displays other vital workout information such as duration, distance, speed, watts and calories – all of which are crucial metrics to monitor and improve performance.
Additionally, place your smart device on the device holder for easy viewing of your favourite entertainment whilst you burn those calories!
BENEFITS
One of the main benefits that favours this over other styles of training machines is its ease of use, set up and safety. Simply jump on, select a programme (or just run!) and you can start training immediately. Using a cross trainer provides similar body benefits to jogging, but with much less stress on your joints and muscles – especially your knees- which makes it excellent for rehabilitation purposes. Despite the low impact, it is great for almost all sets of muscles in the lower body, upper body and core. By placing your hands on the pulse sensors integrated into the handles, you can measure your heart rate- which is displayed on the LCD- and work within your heart rate zone to help burn fat, lose weight and improve conditioning.

BIG SOLID MACHINE FOR HOME USE
I have a Taurus Treadmill and this was a suitable addition to my home gym. It is a bit of a beast but it is used heavily by me and the family so well worth the higher price. Nice simple console without a large TV screen.

Elliptical Purchase
I purchased this elliptical after being undecided between the X9.9 and the FX99.9. I called the Sales Team for some advise and after much discussion I decided on the X9.9 and I am so happy I did. I love the fact it is a rear flywheel as it mimics the Elliptical I have been using in the gym for years. I particularly like how there is an ipad stand so I can keep myself entertained while using. Overall the X9.9 is very robust and the quality is great.

Impressive elliptical
I personally prefer the feel of the rear wheel ellipticals over the front wheel ellipticals as it is less of a stepping motion. I am really impressed with the Taurus X9.9, the elliptical motion is really smooth and not restricted, and I like how there is a place to put your iPad so I can watch TV at the same time!

Great cross-trainer that will save me money in the long run
I really like that this cross-trainer has a fluid motion like the ones I used previously in commercial gyms. It’s like taking the gym directly to my house, and now I’ll be saving £60 a month to do the same thing I used the gym for. The console is easy to use and exactly what I wanted. Thanks!

Top-notch robust and sturdy cross trainer!
Incredibly robust and high quality cross trainer. You can tell it was made with attention to detail. The resistance is silent, the motion is very smooth and the console has many pre-set workouts that can be customised. The handle gives you several positions where you can hold it so everyone can find a one comfortable for them. I change the positions all the time to work out different muscles in my arms.
